A Marvelous Love Triangle

Moe “Mojo” Johnston couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He had come to the New York City apartment of Mary Jane Watson intent on telling her how he felt about her. How the friendship they had shared when they were in high school had been the only thing that had kept him going during the five hard years he spent in prison for grand larceny and breaking and entering. How he had her pictures posted all over his prison cell and gazed at them longingly for hours every day. How his fond memories of her had grown and turned inevitably into feelings of love. How he could no longer live without her and wanted her to be his forever. Now that he was here however, with his heart on his sleeve, ready to express his love and devotion for her everything was going wrong. For what should he find when he peered through her window?

The Black Cat!

A notorious super heroine, the Black Cat was nearly as sexy and attractive as Mary Jane herself, and was already inside her apartment and was presently involved in a heated argument with her about someone named Peter. Mojo couldn’t believe this. As he scaled the building and crept silently across the rooftop to get a better view through Mary Jane’s skylight, he ground his teeth and tried to reconcile the horrible thought that Mary Jane was already taken by another man. It was a terrible thought and Mojo found himself having to stop and rest for a moment against the skylight before continuing. He had to get his head straight before confronting Mary Jane and confessing his love for her.

At least from his new position Mojo could see and hear the argument between the Black Cat and Mary Jane better. They were really having a row it seemed. Shouting at one another and nearly coming to blows. Perhaps he mused he would hear something that would allay his earlier fear that his love was involved with another man. That would help his cause a great deal. It was a vain hope he knew, but he wasn’t prepared to give up on her just yet. Not as long as there was any possibility remaining that Mary Jane could still be his… and not as long as the two silver remotes still dangled from his belt. Amazing devices he had stolen earlier that evening from the lab of none other then Reed Richards, better known as Mister Fantastic of the Fantastic Four.

Meanwhile the argument taking place below Mojo seemed to be just continually heating up. The white haired Black Cat seemed to be on the offense with his love, the beautiful red haired Mary Jane, more then a little taken aback by her rival’s audacity.

“Listen to me Mary Jane. I’m being dead serious. I’m in love with Peter and I’m certain he feels the same way. He’s just too nice of a guy to say anything to you.” The Black Cat, secretly Felicia Hardy, tried to explain during a lull in their shouting contest.

“That’s ridiculous. You barely know Peter. How could you know how he feels?” Mary Jane countered.
