Story: Super Punishment

Super Punishment
By Tcheser

The laser guided missiles continued to rain out of the sleek Lexcorp Mecha at a tremendous rate. Dodging and smashing them was getting tiresome for the man of steel. A few had already hit him and despite not even breaking his skin the explosions were quite hot and put him in a foul mood. He was really getting sick of having to constantly stop the evil plots of billionaire financial genius Lex Luther. As he closed in on the still rapidly firing Mecha, Superman wished the machine was Lex. Wished he was fighting the man himself instead of the fifty ton armored battle drone. For then when he ducked under its arms and came up with a metal rending uppercut it would have done more then just destroy another multimillion dollar war machine.

Unfortunately that was not the reality of the situation. As Superman stood over the smoking remains of the Mecha he had to once again check his anger and remember he could never engage a mere human in combat like he had the Mecha. Humans were fragile and almost more then they needed his brawn they needed him to lead by his example. What kind of hero would he be if he went into Lex Luthor's office and used his heat vision to burn the evil man to ashes?

Looking back over his shoulder Superman saw the devastation the robot had caused though. He hadn’t been able to catch or destroy all the missiles the robot had carelessly launched his way and many had soared on and crashed into the city. Cars were on fire, the streets were marked with craters and there were buildings damaged. People lived in this section of Metropolis. Families with Kids. How could Lex be so heartless? Despite his outrage he couldn’t do as he felt and execute Lex though. Still something had to be done and with that decided and the press about to converge on him Superman took to the sky.

Story: A Bad Morning

Eric thought little of it when the woman pushed past him on the subway in her hurry to exit the train. She was after all just a big titted, peroxide blonde, tramp-stamped redneck. She had probably never heard of a little thing called common courtesy. And from the look of her cleavage baring once white tank top, cheap faux fur jacket, ultra short daisy dukes, garish fake nails and bright red heels, she had clearly never heard of good taste either.

Eric never intended to give the incident another thought, but then as the train pulled away from the station he saw the woman again as she stood there on the platform smoking a menthol. She looked back at him and then smiled and shrugged apologetically. “Sorry” she seemed to say.

Assuming she was trying to make amends for bumping into him Eric smiled back and waved it off. “It was nothing. Don’t worry about it.” He mouthed. Maybe she had more class than he had given her credit for he began to think.

Then the woman reached into her purse and pulled out a wallet. A brown leather wallet that looked oddly familiar… It was his wallet! That bitch had stolen his wallet! Unfortunately by the time Eric realized that she had his wallet the train was well and truly moving and there was no way for him to get off and get it back. He watched the trailer trash bitch until the train entered the tunnel and then she was gone.
